Jasmine Hill Gardens, Botanical garden in Wetumpka, Alabama, United States.

Jasmine Hill Gardens is a botanical garden in Wetumpka, Alabama, designed with Greek statues and replicas set throughout its grounds. The grounds spread across multiple levels with flowering plants, landscaped pathways, and approximately 40 Greek sculptures and copies positioned among the vegetation.

Benjamin and Mary Fitzpatrick established the gardens in the 1930s following their travels to Greece, where they collected statues and sculptures. Their gathering became the foundation for developing this site, which incorporated Greek artworks into an American landscape.

The site features a carefully recreated Temple of Hera from Olympia with authentic architectural details set among flowering plants and pathways. Visitors can observe how this Greek structure was adapted into an American garden setting.

The site is located north of Montgomery on U.S. Route 231, making it relatively easy to find for those familiar with the area. It is important to know that the facility has been permanently closed to visitors since May 2020.

The Olympic Torch relay passed through these gardens in 1996 on its way to Atlanta. This moment connected the site to modern Olympic heritage while maintaining its ties to ancient Greek traditions.
