Taetro Amadeo Roldán

Teatro Amadeo Roldán is a concert hall and performance venue in Vedado with two separate spaces designed for different types of shows. The main hall accommodates large orchestral concerts, while the smaller hall serves chamber music and specialized events.

The building was constructed in 1929 as the Havana Auditorium and served as an important cultural center for many years. A major fire in 1977 caused significant damage, forcing closure until a complete restoration and reopening in the late 1990s.

The venue hosts the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, which presents works spanning classical traditions and contemporary pieces. Visitors experience live classical music as an active part of the city's cultural life, not as a relic of the past.

The venue is easily accessible by public transportation and situated in central Vedado. Both halls offer excellent acoustics that enhance the listening experience regardless of which performance space you attend.
