Hubert de Blanck Theater

The Hubert de Blanck Theater sits on the upper floor of a former music conservatory building in Vedado, housing an intimate performance hall with around 270 seats. The compact space creates a close connection between stage and audience, making it suitable for both local and visiting theater groups.

The venue was founded as a permanent home for a resident theater company and developed into an important center for dramatic arts in Havana. Over the years it has served as a stage for both Cuban and international theatrical works.

The entrance gallery displays photographs from past productions and performances that have defined the theater's artistic direction over the decades. Visitors walking through can see visual stories of the different shows and creative works that shaped the venue.

The theater is located on Calzada Street at number 654 between A and B streets in the Vedado neighborhood, easily accessible to visitors. Regular performances and participation in international festivals offer a variety of programming throughout the year.
