Church of Jesus

The Church of Jesus is a large religious building in Miramar that blends Romanesque and Byzantine design elements along Fifth Avenue. The structure features high ceilings, arched passages, and extensive interior decoration that demonstrates the architectural style of the mid-20th century.

Construction began in 1948 and the building was completed and inaugurated in 1953, following architectural plans by two leading designers of the period. This project was part of Havana's development during the post-war years.
