Sacomã District

Sacomã is an administrative district in southeastern São Paulo with numerous residential neighborhoods and well-trafficked streets throughout. The area has developed through different layers of urban expansion that define the character of the Ipiranga region.

The district emerged as part of São Paulo's southeastern expansion during the second half of the 20th century. Its population grew substantially as residential areas were systematically developed and infrastructure was built out.
