Museu Barão de Mauá

The Museu Barão de Mauá holds over 10,000 items including photographs, books, and objects related to the history of Mauá and ABC Paulista region.

The museum occupies an 18th-century bandeirista house built using traditional rammed earth construction techniques, making it one of the oldest structures in ABC region.

Regular exhibitions within the museum explore diverse themes focusing on social development and industrial heritage of Mauá municipality through artifacts and documents.

Located at -23.666394, -46.45251, the museum opens Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and weekends from 10 AM to 4 PM with free admission.

The museum building incorporates rammed earth walls constructed with a mixture of clay, stones, wood pieces, vines, horse hair, and ox blood.
