Albert Spencer Wilcox Beach House

The house features traditional Hawaiian lanais connecting separate rooms, with numerous windows allowing natural ventilation throughout the 22-acre property.

Built during the late nineteenth century, this residence belonged to Albert Spencer Wilcox, a businessman who developed sugar plantations in Hawaii.

The house design incorporates separate areas for social gatherings, cooking, and sleeping, following traditional Hawaiian architectural principles of the period.

Located on Weke Road, the property contains five auxiliary buildings and four additional structures maintained by generations of the Wilcox family.

The residence stands as one of only two houses on Kauai that maintain original architectural elements from the turn of the twentieth century.
