Founded in 1575 by Nicolas Ramirez, this hacienda initially consisted of three separate estates: San Nicolas de Peñuelas, San Isidro Labrador, and San Antonio.
The first courtyard displays traditional half-point arcades, with square pillars and benches decorated with majolica tiles, connecting to Mexican architectural heritage.
The property includes a garden entrance that leads visitors through the main reception area of the historical complex.
The name Peñuelas derives from the numerous rock formations surrounding the property, which characterized the landscape during its establishment.
