SkyPoint, Residential skyscraper in downtown Tampa, United States
The SkyPoint building reaches 361 feet in height with 33 floors, housing 380 residential units and retail spaces at ground level.
Construction of SkyPoint began in 2005 and concluded in June 2007, marking a period of substantial high-rise development in Tampa's urban expansion.
The building represents a shift in Tampa's residential patterns, transforming downtown from a business district into a mixed-use neighborhood.
The structure includes seven levels of enclosed parking, a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse, fitness center, media room, and swimming pool for residents.
On March 6, 2007, before the official opening, William Stroup performed an unauthorized BASE jump from the top of the building.
