Tampa City Hall, Municipal government building in downtown Tampa, United States
The ten-story Tampa City Hall features Doric columns, terra cotta details, and a balustrade surrounding three main stories with a seven-story tower.
Construction of Tampa City Hall was completed in 1915 at a cost of $235,000, with architect M. Leo Elliott leading the design in partnership with B.C. Bonfoey.
The building replaced an 1842 frame home owned by Imboden Stalnaker, who moved the structure to prevent its demolition during the city hall construction.
Tampa City Hall serves as the primary government building at 315 East Kennedy Boulevard, housing municipal offices and administrative functions for the city.
A municipal clock weighing 2,840 pounds with four faces was added through a fundraising campaign led by Miss Oppenheimer and donated by W.H. Beckwith Jewelry Company.
