Tampa City Hall

Tampa City Hall is a 10-story government building featuring Doric columns, terra cotta ornaments, and a decorative balustrade across three main levels with a seven-story tower rising above. The exterior combines classical architectural elements with the functional spaces needed for municipal offices and administrative operations.

Construction was completed in 1915 following classical architectural principles that reflected Tampa's growing importance as a civic center. The building replaced earlier structures on the site and represented a major investment in creating a permanent, dignified home for city government.
