MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

The MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre is a music venue at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa that includes a covered pavilion with fixed seating and a wide lawn area. The facility can hold up to 17,800 people and hosts live concerts in an open-air setting.

The venue opened on July 25, 2004, bringing larger touring bands and artists to Tampa. Since then, national and international acts have regularly performed there in front of several thousand spectators.

The stage faces in a direction that lets the sun set behind the audience during most evening shows, avoiding direct glare on guests. Many visitors spot bats flying over the lawn during concerts, as they are common in the area.
