Cheetah Hunt

The Cheetah Hunt roller coaster stretches across 4,429 feet of track, incorporating three linear synchronous motor launches and reaching speeds of 60 miles per hour.

Construction began in April 2010 with water dummy testing in late April 2011, leading to the official opening on May 27, 2011 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

The roller coaster design draws inspiration from cheetah characteristics, complemented by the adjacent Cheetah Run habitat where visitors observe live cheetahs in motion.

The coaster operates daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, featuring safety harnesses and over-the-shoulder restraints for secure experiences during the multiple launches.

Located in the Edge of Africa section, this roller coaster utilizes a former monorail station as its loading area and includes a 102-foot drop in its layout.
