Founded in December 1992, the venue marked its first professional competition in April 1995 with skateboarder Mike Vallely securing the championship title.
The skatepark hosts the annual Tampa Pro and Tampa Am competitions, drawing participants and spectators from the international skateboarding community.
The skatepark maintains daily operations from noon until 8 PM during weekdays, with extended morning hours starting at 10 AM on weekends.
The facility includes a dedicated music venue called Transitions, complete with performance stage, sound system, and an integrated skate shop.
