Goliath

Goliath is an inverted boomerang coaster at Six Flags New England where riders hang suspended beneath the track throughout the ride. The track features a vertical cable lift, a cobra roll, and a vertical loop that dominate the skyline.

The coaster debuted in 2001 as Déjà Vu at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. It was relocated to Agawam and renamed in 2012.

The name draws from the biblical giant and reflects the ride's impressive scale and power. You'll notice how it dominates the park and draws crowds throughout the day.

The ride reaches speeds of about 65 mph and lasts around ninety seconds from start to finish. Each row holds four riders, so expect lines during peak times, especially on warm days.

What makes this coaster special is that the trains leave the station backward and then travel forward through the entire course before riding the same elements in reverse. This creates an unexpected experience since riders encounter the track twice from different perspectives.
