Busch Gardens Tampa

Busch Gardens Tampa is a theme and animal park in Florida that combines roller coasters and animal enclosures across more than 335 acres. Over 300 species live here in different zones that evoke African landscapes.

The site began in 1959 as a beer company garden by Anheuser-Busch and evolved into a major leisure park. Over the decades, roller coasters and further attractions arrived while animal keeping was expanded.

The combination of rides and animal areas draws on patterns from different African regions. Visitors experience this mix when moving between attractions and enclosures, where design choices suggest local building techniques.

Admission can be combined with multi-park tickets, and waiting lines shorten with pre-booked fast access. The site sits north of downtown Tampa and offers its own parking near the entrances.
