Nu Stadium, Soccer stadium in Miami, United States
Nu Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium in Miami, Florida, with 26,700 seats, opened in April 2026 as the home field of Inter Miami. Pink and white seats wrap around the curved lower and upper bowls, black seats fill the nearer sections, and a white steel roof with radial trusses rings the top.
The City of Miami Commission approved the development in April 2022 after voters supported the project with a 60 percent majority during a referendum in 2019. The Governor of Florida granted funding for infrastructure improvements around the future stadium in August 2024.
Nu Stadium is the centerpiece of Miami Freedom Park, a mixed-use development near Miami International Airport with office, retail and commercial space alongside public parks. The stadium replaced Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale as Inter Miami's home, so matchdays now draw the club's supporters to this corner of the city.
The site sits at a location served by Tri-Rail and Metrorail connections, so arrival by public transport is available from much of the city. Construction work is expected to finish by the end of 2026, after which training pitches and outdoor areas will open to the public.
The complex rises on the site of a former golf course that was privately used for decades and now opens for public sports activities. The funding for infrastructure includes around 8 million dollars granted by the state in August 2024.
