Okeeheelee Park is a large county park in West Palm Beach featuring five lakes, walking and biking trails, and sports facilities throughout the grounds. The landscape includes both open recreation areas and natural Florida woodland.
The park opened in 1973 as a way to develop unused land into a recreation center for the region. Over the following years, specialized sports facilities and natural areas were added to serve different visitor interests.

The park opens at sunrise and closes at 10 PM, with multiple entrances near Forest Hill Boulevard for easy access. It is less crowded during the hottest parts of the day, making morning and late afternoon visits more pleasant.
The park features five specially designed lakes that serve as venues for national water-skiing competitions each year. These events attract hundreds of competitors from across the country to test their skills.
