Universal's Islands of Adventure, Theme park in Universal Orlando Resort, United States.
Islands of Adventure is a large theme park featuring multiple lands, including Marvel Super Hero Island, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and Seuss Landing. Each area contains its own attractions, dining options, and shops that reflect the themed world.
The park opened on May 28, 1999, marking Universal's expansion into a second theme park at the Orlando location. This launch was a key moment in building the broader Universal Orlando Resort complex.
The park brings characters and settings from films, books, and comics to life through rides, shows, and hands-on experiences spread across themed lands. Visitors encounter familiar faces and explore their worlds as if stepping directly into the stories.
Download the Universal Orlando app to check wait times and plan your visit more effectively. Most attractions have height requirements, so it's useful to review these beforehand to avoid disappointment.
The Incredible Hulk Coaster launches riders from zero to 40 miles per hour in just two seconds and sends them through seven inversions suspended above the park. This explosive acceleration creates an unforgettable first moment.
