VelociCoaster features two high-speed magnetic launches that propel riders up to 70 miles per hour through 4,700 feet of steel track, including four inversions and a 155-foot top hat element that delivers intense airtime moments.

Opening on June 10, 2021, VelociCoaster replaced the former Triceratops Encounter attraction and was manufactured by Intamin as part of Universal Orlando's expansion of high-thrill attractions in the Jurassic Park themed area.

The coaster integrates characters and storylines from the Jurassic World film franchise, featuring detailed animatronic velociraptors and themed queue areas that immerse guests in the cinematic universe of dinosaur training and adventure.

Riders must be at least 51 inches tall to experience the two-minute ride, which accommodates up to 48 passengers per cycle and typically maintains wait times exceeding two hours during peak periods.

The signature Mosasaurus Roll element inverts riders at 53 miles per hour directly above a lagoon, creating a weightless sensation while simulating the motion of a velociraptor's tail swipe through the air.
