Camping World Stadium, Football stadium in Downtown Orlando, United States
Camping World Stadium is a sports facility in Downtown Orlando with artificial turf and seating for 65,438 spectators distributed across multiple tiers. The stands wrap around the playing field in an oval shape, with the upper deck offering wide views over the central part of the city.
The facility was built during the Great Depression in 1936 through a government work program with just 8,900 seats originally. Over the following decades it underwent multiple expansions and renovations to accommodate larger sporting events.
This arena serves as a meeting point for fans of college football, soccer, and combat sports who gather here multiple times each year. During major game days, the grounds become lively with tailgate setups and enthusiastic supporters cheering for their teams.
The stadium stands at 1610 West Church Street and provides parking areas along with connections to several public transit lines from downtown. Entrances are accessible via wide ramps and elevators, making access easier for people with limited mobility.
This venue was one of nine sites in the United States for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Two years later, international soccer returned when it hosted matches during the 1996 Summer Olympics.
