CNL Center City Commons

CNL Center City Commons is an office complex in downtown Orlando consisting of two connected towers. The development features covered walkways linking the buildings and provides access to parking facilities with 24-hour security services.

The complex was built in 1999 on land previously occupied by Alliance Bankshares before being acquired by CNL Financial Group. The site underwent transformation from its earlier use into a modern office development.

The complex hosts Orlando City Hall between its two towers and serves as a central meeting point for government and business activities. It has become a familiar landmark that locals use to navigate the downtown area.

The complex is located on South Orange Avenue and is easily accessible by public transit. Visitors should know this is an active office building, so some areas may have restricted access during business hours.

The demolition of an earlier city hall building at this location was filmed and used in the movie Lethal Weapon 3. This film connection is often overlooked by visitors, though it marks an unusual moment in the building's past.
