The North Fulton High School building stands at the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont Roads, featuring architectural elements from the early twentieth century.
Established in 1932, the educational facility served generations of students until 1991, when it merged with Northside High School to form North Atlanta High School.
The School of International Studies program, initiated in 1981, brought students from different countries, making North Fulton a center for multicultural education.
The building now functions as the Atlanta International School, maintaining its educational purpose while adapting to current needs of the community.
During the 1960s and 1970s, North Fulton High School received numerous students from nearby apartment complexes housing refugees from Cuba and Vietnam.
