Harbour Town Golf Links, Golf course in Hilton Head Island, United States.
Harbour Town Golf Links is a golf course in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, stretching 6,485 meters (7,099 yards) along the Calibogue Sound waterfront. Narrow fairways wind between oaks, pines, and palmetto groves, while water hazards shape play at several points along the round.
Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus began designing the course together in 1967, aiming to create a challenging tournament layout. The opening followed two years later, bringing professional tournament golf to Hilton Head.
The RBC Heritage takes place here every April, South Carolina's only PGA Tour event that follows the Masters. Professionals and spectators travel to the island for the tournament, filling grandstands along the waterside holes.
Tee times can be reserved online in advance, with fees varying by season. Morning rounds often offer cooler temperatures and less wind than afternoon starts.
A red and white striped lighthouse stands beside the final hole, serving as a reference point for approach shots. The hole runs directly along the Sound and closes out the round with views across open water.
