History
The park was established in 1966 as Grand Strand Amusement Park before the Ammons family purchased it in 1992 and gave it its current name. This change brought new management and direction to the longtime Myrtle Beach entertainment destination.
Culture
The park was featured in Kenny Chesney's music video for 'Anything but Mine' in 2005, linking it to country music culture and the broader entertainment scene along the coast.
