Joe and Barbara Schwartz Center

The Joe and Barbara Schwartz Center is a sports venue in Wilmington with approximately 18,000 square feet (1,672 square meters) of athletic space. Inside, you find hardwood floors, individual seating with backs, and room for about 1,366 spectators during events.

The college approved construction of this center in 1999 to create a modern training and competition facility. The project was fully funded and has served the college athletics program since its completion.

The center serves as the home for Cape Fear Community College athletic teams, where you watch basketball and volleyball matches throughout the school year. Students and fans gather here to support their local college sports.
