Blake Garden, Botanical garden in Kensington, California, US.
The 10.6-acre Blake Garden contains 1500 plant species, two water courses, a formal garden with reflecting pool, and Mediterranean plant sections.
The garden originated as part of the Blake family estate in 1924, designed by landscape architect Mabel Symmes before being transferred to UC Berkeley in 1957.
Blake Garden functions as an educational facility for UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design, where students learn landscape architecture through hands-on experience.
Located at 70 Rincon Road, the garden welcomes visitors on weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM during winter months, offering free entry and parking.
The property includes a 27-room Spanish-style mansion that served as the University of California President's residence from 1967 until 2008.
