University House, Berkeley, Mediterranean villa residence at University of California, Berkeley, US.
The residence features a triple-arched portico entrance, round bays with balustrades, and spans across two floors with reception areas and private quarters.
Architect Albert Pissis designed the structure in 1901 with a budget of 215,000 dollars, completing construction in 1911 for President Benjamin Wheeler's family.
The house exhibits Mediterranean architectural elements throughout its design, incorporating art pieces on loan from the Berkeley Art Museum collection.
The property encompasses two and a half acres of formal gardens, including a rose garden and greenhouse for hosting up to 300 guests at events.
The gardens contain a topiary clock, received as a gift from the Swiss government, adding to the landscaping features of the grounds.
