Haggin Museum

The Haggin Museum spans 34,000 square feet of exhibition space, displaying European paintings, American landscapes, and local history collections within its galleries.

The museum opened in 1931 when Robert McKee and his wife donated $30,000 to create educational facilities focused on historical studies and artifact display.

The museum holds the largest public collection of J.C. Leyendecker works in the United States, with a dedicated gallery established in 2017.

Visitors can explore the museum Wednesday through Friday from 1:50 PM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday through Sunday from noon to 5:00 PM.

The Jennie Hunter Rooms maintain their original Victorian furnishings exactly as arranged by the local rancher who donated them to the museum.
