Adrenaline Peak, Steel roller coaster at Oaks Amusement Park in Portland, United States
Adrenaline Peak is a steel coaster manufactured by Gerstlauer featuring a blue and pink design with a vertical lift hill and multiple inversions throughout the track. The ride can accommodate up to 700 riders per hour using three trains that each seat eight passengers in two rows.
The coaster was built following the removal of Looping Thunder in September 2017, with installation completed in just eleven days during February 2018. It replaced the older attraction with a modern alternative for park visitors.
The coaster's name came from a community naming contest in which a local resident submitted his suggestion. This reflects how the park values visitor engagement and connection to the surrounding community.
Plan your visit during less crowded times since the ride is limited to around 700 riders per hour. Keep in mind that operations may be suspended during severe weather conditions.
The ride begins with a vertical lift of 72 feet before plunging into a nearly vertical 97-degree drop. This extreme opening creates an intense start that sets the tone for the rest of the journey.
