White River Falls State Park

White River Falls is a state park in The Dalles, Oregon, featuring a waterfall that plunges over basalt cliffs in multiple steps. The landscape around it is high desert terrain with sparse vegetation framing the water's path.

A hydroelectric power plant was built at the waterfall's base in 1910 to supply electricity to nearby counties for over 50 years. The facility was later abandoned, and its ruins remain visible at the site.
