Englishman River Falls Provincial Park

Englishman River Falls Provincial Park spans 97 hectares of forest land, featuring upper and lower waterfalls cascading through Douglas fir and cedar trees.

The Regional District of Nanaimo collaborated with conservation organizations in 2005 to protect 205 hectares of natural land within the park boundaries.

First Nations communities maintain strong connections to the park lands, particularly the river corridor that supports vital salmon populations and traditional practices.

The park provides 107 vehicle-accessible camping sites, multiple hiking trails, picnic areas, and designated swimming locations at the base of the falls.

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada developed a 4-kilometer side channel within the park to support salmon populations and maintain a community hatchery.
