SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention, Science museum in Bellingham, United States
The SPARK Museum houses four centuries of electrical innovations, including telegraphs, radios, and electromagnetic devices from 1580 to the 1950s.
Founded in 1998 as the Bellingham Antique Radio Museum, the institution changed its name to SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention in 2012.
The facility maintains first editions of scientific books dating back to 1560, with works from Robert Boyle, Benjamin Franklin, and Alessandro Volta.
The museum opens Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and features educational demonstrations with Tesla coils and electromagnetic equipment.
The MegaZapper show lets participants aged 18 and older enter the Cage of Doom to experience controlled high-voltage electricity demonstrations.
