T. G. Richards and Company Store, Historic brick commercial building in Bellingham, Washington.

The T.G. Richards and Company Store stands as a two-story brick structure with large windows and classic commercial architecture from the 1850s.

Constructed in 1858 at a cost of 8,000 dollars, the building supplied goods to travelers during the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush period.

The structure later served as Whatcom County Courthouse, housing government offices and the Bellingham Bay Mail newspaper starting in 1873.

Located at 48°45'17"N and 122°29'10"W, the building now functions as the Helen Loggie Museum of Art following a 2020 restoration.

The first brick building constructed in Washington State used 100,000 bricks manufactured in San Francisco and transported by the bark Ann Parry.
