Hillside Stadium

Hillside Stadium is a sports facility in Kamloops featuring a 400-meter synthetic running track and aluminum seating for approximately 1,000 spectators. An attached building contains a 200-meter indoor track, gymnastics equipment, and a multipurpose gymnasium for various sports.

The facility originally hosted track and field competitions during the 1993 Summer Games. The current structure was built in 2006 with improved facilities for multiple sports.

The stadium serves as the home ground for Thompson Rivers WolfPack teams and Kamloops-based soccer organizations. It has become a gathering place where local athletes and supporters come together throughout the year.

The complex is located on a hillside near Thompson Rivers University, combining both outdoor and indoor training spaces. Visitors can access the running track, gymnastics areas, and gymnasium within the same facility.

The facility sits at about 500 meters (1,640 feet) elevation, creating distinct conditions that affect athletic performance. Training at this higher altitude makes physical exertion more challenging than at sea level.
