Goodsprings is a small settlement scattered across the Nevada desert near Las Vegas, with homes and buildings spread across rolling terrain. The community consists mostly of individual houses and older structures dispersed throughout the dry landscape.
The settlement began around 1900 when rancher Joseph Good used a natural spring in the area. It later grew into a mining center for lead, silver, and gold.
The Pioneer Saloon displays objects and memorials that tell the story of the community, including a tribute to actress Carole Lombard who died in a plane crash nearby.
