Flight Park State Recreation Area, Paragliding and hang gliding state park in northern Utah, United States.
Flight Park State Recreation Area spans 147 acres across Utah and Salt Lake Counties, offering dedicated spaces for aerial sports at 5,146 feet elevation.
The recreational site gained official recognition in 2006 through a partnership between Utah State Parks and the Utah Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association.
The park brings together 700 pilots annually, with thirty percent of participants traveling from outside Utah and international locations to practice aerial sports.
Visitors can access the park through Interstate 15 exit 288, following State Route 140 east to Minuteman Drive with clear directional signs to the location.
A designated modelport near the parking area allows enthusiasts to operate remote-controlled airplanes and helicopters in a specialized zone.
