La Grande Plage

Grande plage is a sandy beach in La Ciotat that stretches along the Esplanade Henri Langlois near Saint-Jean port. The shoreline offers both public and private sections with dining and snack options throughout.

Originally a natural coastal area, the beach developed into a modern swimming destination during the 20th century. Safety measures and public facilities were gradually added to accommodate growing visitor numbers.
