Lake Ontario Park

The city of Kingston established this recreational space in 1894, marking the beginning of public waterfront access for local residents and visitors.

The performance area within the park hosts community events throughout the year, bringing together residents for music, theater, and celebrations.

Public washrooms remain accessible from 9 am until dusk between Victoria Day and Thanksgiving, with two electric vehicle charging stations near the entrance.

The park includes specialized areas for skateboarding with ramps and stairs, alongside volleyball courts and a dedicated boat launch for water activities.
