Qianjiangyuan National Forest Park

The national park extends across 45 square kilometers, incorporating 42.5 square kilometers of land and 2.2 square kilometers of water surfaces.

The Zhejiang provincial government designated the area as a provincial park in December 1992, followed by national recognition from the State Forestry Administration in 1999.

The park contains multiple streams and traditional fishing locations, where local communities maintain connections with their natural surroundings through sustainable practices.

Visitors can explore the park through a network of marked trails, with information centers providing guidance about the local ecosystem and wildlife populations.

The forest coverage reaches 97.55 percent, supporting 720 woody plant species and providing habitat for 58 mammal species, including the protected clouded leopard.
