Lost Creek State Park, State park with reservoir in Morgan County, United States
Lost Creek State Park is a state park around Lost Creek Reservoir in northeastern Morgan County, Utah, about 13 miles northeast of Henefer. As of September 2021 all areas remained in an extremely primitive state, with vault toilets at several locations and a concrete boat ramp on the south side of the Trail Creek/Francis Canyon arm of the reservoir.
The park was officially established in 2021 through legislation passed by the Utah State Legislature. Its creation added a new protected natural area to the state park system.
The name Lost Creek comes from the creek feeding the reservoir; the park also appears on USGS maps as Lost Creek Lake State Beach. Hunting in the park is to be limited to waterfowl. The reservoir's southern arm, Trail Creek/Francis Canyon, holds the concrete boat ramp.
Access is via Utah State Route 158 from Exit 111 of Interstate 80, then North 5800 East or North 6900 East near Croydon; Lost Creek Road is paved past Lost Creek Dam. All areas remain extremely primitive, with vault toilets at several locations and a concrete boat ramp on the south side of the Trail Creek/Francis Canyon arm.
The park's name appeared on USGS maps as early as 1991, and the Geographic Names Information System listed it, with the alternate name Lost Creek Lake State Beach, by June 1, 2018 — decades before the March 2021 legislation formally created it.
