Folsom Field

Folsom Field is a football stadium on the University of Colorado campus with a horseshoe-shaped layout, natural grass playing surface, and seating capacity for around 26,000 spectators. The facility includes various administrative areas such as Imaging Services at Gate 11 and a Testing Assessment Center at Gate 7.

The stadium opened in October 1924 and received its name in 1944 to honor Frederick Folsom, a former head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. This renaming marked a key moment in the university's sports history and traditions.
