Lusk

Lusk is a small town in northeastern Wyoming located in the High Plains at an elevation of about 1,530 meters (5,000 feet). It functions as the county seat for the surrounding region and serves as the main administrative hub for residents.

Frank S. Lusk founded the town in 1886 during the expansion of the Wyoming Central Railway into the region. The settlement grew from a simple stagecoach stop into a transportation hub and administrative center.

The Niobrara County Library maintains digital archives documenting local history, including records of the town's founding families and early development periods.

The Town Hall on East 3rd Street is your main stop for local government services and information. Staff are available during standard business hours to answer questions and help with administrative needs.
