Lusk, County seat in Niobrara County, Wyoming, United States

Located in the High Plains at an elevation of 1,530 meters, Lusk extends across 2.07 square miles of Wyoming's northeastern region.

Frank S. Lusk established the town in 1886 during the expansion of the Wyoming Central Railway, transforming it from a stagecoach stop into a settlement.

The Niobrara County Library maintains digital archives documenting local history, including records of the town's founding families and early development periods.

The Town Hall, situated at 201 East 3rd Street, provides governmental services to residents during weekday business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Lusk serves as the administrative center of Niobrara County, which holds the distinction of being the least populated county in Wyoming.
