Blasted Church Vineyards, Winery in Okanagan Falls, Canada.
The Blasted Church Vineyards stretches across the Skaha Bench region, producing wines from Merlot, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other grape varieties.
Founded in 2002, the vineyard took its name from a 1929 event when a church was dismantled using dynamite and later rebuilt in Okanagan Falls.
The vineyard incorporates Renaissance-inspired artwork on its wine labels and maintains an original church pew outside its wine shop for visitors.
The winery distributes its products through government and private liquor stores, restaurants, online sales, and maintains a wine club for regular customers.
In 2004, Blasted Church became the first Okanagan winery to use screw-top bottle caps for all still wines, leading a regional innovation.
