Reuter Peak

Reuter Peak is a summit in the Livingston Range within Glacier National Park and rises to approximately 8,763 feet. The mountainside features steep drops with exposed rock throughout, creating rugged terrain that demands serious climbing ability.

The peak took shape from glacial activity during the last ice ages, which carved the valley below and left behind the sharp ridges visible today. These ice-age processes shaped the entire mountain range thousands of years ago and created its rugged form.

The mountain serves as a research location for geologists and environmental scientists studying Rocky Mountain ecosystems and climate patterns.
