CalgaryNEXT, Sports venue project in Calgary, Canada

CalgaryNEXT was a proposed sports venue designed for downtown Calgary. The project aimed to create a modern facility capable of hosting hockey, concerts, and large community events in one location.

The 2015 CalgaryNEXT proposal would have replaced both the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium, with a 19,000–20,000-seat arena and a 40,000-seat football stadium in West Village. A City of Calgary report in April 2016 put the cost near $1.8 billion, and in April 2017 council voted unanimously for an alternate plan near the Saddledome. Flames president Ken King said on September 12, 2017 that the team was no longer pursuing it.

The facility's design incorporated spaces for hockey games, concerts, and community events to serve as a central entertainment hub for Calgary residents.
