Niobrara County, County seat in eastern Wyoming, United States.

Niobrara County spans 2,628 square miles of land area in eastern Wyoming, featuring expansive grasslands and the Thunder Basin National Grassland.

The county was established in 1911 from territory previously part of Converse County and received its name from the Niobrara River that flows near Lusk.

The population of Niobrara County maintains strong connections to German, English, and Irish heritage, reflecting historical settlement patterns in this region.

The Wyoming Women's Center operates in the county seat of Lusk, while government offices provide services at 424 South Elm from Monday through Friday.

With only 2,467 residents recorded in the 2020 census, Niobrara County holds the distinction of being Wyoming's least populated administrative division.
