Anhluut'ukwsim Laxmihl Angwinga'asanskwhl Nisga'a

The park contains a 10-kilometer by 3-kilometer lava field with different formations, spread across four biogeoclimatic zones in northwestern British Columbia.

Established in 1992, this provincial park commemorates a volcanic eruption from 1760 that impacted local Nisga'a communities in the region.

The park represents the first collaborative management between BC Parks and the Nisga'a First Nation, integrating natural preservation with indigenous heritage.

The park offers 16 non-reservable camping sites for tents and RVs, with facilities including basic sanitation services and designated picnic areas.

Lava Lake formed when volcanic flows created a natural dam on the Nass River, resulting in a distinctive geological formation within the park boundaries.
