Prudhomme Lake Provincial Park, Provincial park in North Coast Regional District, British Columbia, Canada.
Prudhomme Lake Provincial Park encompasses 9 hectares of forested terrain surrounding a freshwater lake located 16 kilometers east of Prince Rupert along Highway 16.
Established on June 1, 1964, this protected area was created as part of British Columbia's provincial park system to preserve natural landscapes and provide public access to outdoor recreation.
The park sits on traditional territories of the Lax Kw'alaams and Metlakatla Nations, whose ancestral connections to these lands and waters span generations of hunting, fishing, and cultural practices.
The park offers 24 vehicle and tent campsites with basic facilities including water, firewood, and pit toilets, operating seasonally from May through September with collected fees.
Diana Creek flows near the park and hosts salmon spawning runs during August and September, attracting five Pacific salmon species including sockeye, chinook, coho, chum, and pink salmon.
