The Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge is a cable-stayed span crossing the Sungai Kebun river and linking two districts of the city. The structure features a central tower with steel cables supporting the roadway, along with sidewalks for foot traffic on both sides.

Construction began with a groundbreaking on 16 January 2014, led by Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, after the Ministry of Development launched the project in June 2013 under the 10th National Development Plan. A joint venture of South Korea's Daelim Industrial and local Swee built it in about three years for B$139 million. Trial use started on 2 October 2017, and it was inaugurated on 14 October 2017 during Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah's Golden Jubilee, with fireworks and a float procession.

The tower rises with an Islamic dome at its peak, reflecting the religious character visible across Brunei's landscape. This architectural feature marks the city and creates a symbolic gateway between its districts.

Vehicles and pedestrians use the bridge daily thanks to well-developed dual roads and separate pathways on both sides. Plan visits during daylight hours to fully appreciate the architectural design and views of the river below.

The bridge was completed in just three years, showing rapid progress for such a complex engineering project. The partnership between an international firm and local builders reflects modern approaches to infrastructure development in the region.
