The Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge extends 622 meters across the Sungai Kebun river with a main span of 300 meters and a 157-meter tower.
The bridge opened on October 14, 2017, during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, marking Brunei's first cable-stayed bridge construction.
The bridge tower features an Islamic dome measuring 8.7 meters in diameter, reflecting the religious architecture prevalent throughout Brunei.
The structure includes a dual-carriageway road and footpaths on both sides, connecting the districts of Pusat Bandar and Mukim Lumapas for vehicles and pedestrians.
South Korean company Daelim Industrial collaborated with local firm Swee to complete this B$139 million infrastructure project in three years.
