Cyprus Museum

The Cyprus Museum is a national institution in central Nicosia that houses artifacts from across the island's history. The galleries walk visitors chronologically from early settlements through the early Christian period, with pottery, jewelry, sculptures, and coins documenting the progression.

The institution was established in 1882 during the British period and initially occupied temporary government offices. A dedicated building was completed in 1924 and continues to house the collection today.
